Rebecca

I brux as well -- oddly enough, my front teeth only, and not my molars. At first the mouthguard seemed quite horrible. I felt weird with something in my mouth clamped to my upper teeth, and I kept swallowing (reflexly trying to get rid of it I suppose).

Now my mouthguard and I are so well socialized together that putting the it in at night signals to my brain "Ahhh... Bedtime". In fact, I now can't sleep without it, and if I forget it at home when travelling, I dream all night about grinding my teeth to a fine chalky dust.

And as for hygiene and ease of care, easy enough to use a minty denture soaker, like "Polident" -- removes all the bacteria and involves minimal handling. And so tasty.
